Summit IT Services Changes Its Name to Summit Consulting Services

Raleigh, NC – Summit IT Service’s President David Turner announced today that his company has changed their name to Summit Consulting Services. This change is intended to more accurately reflect the full scope of services that Summit now provides. In addition to Summit’s ongoing technical staffing and project outsourcing services the company now has added a Sales Consulting practice focusing on all aspects of technology sales, both channel and direct, to their portfolio.

“We are very excited about the new dimension we are adding to our offerings. This is something that I have wanted to do since acquiring Summit last year,” said Turner. “My background is virtually 100% executive sales management, all of it in various technology markets and disciplines, with mostly startup and mid-sized companies. I have built sales teams from scratch as well as been brought in to analyze existing teams weaknesses and make changes necessary to become a high performing group. With these experiences under my belt I truly believe that I can help any startup or short term company that is struggling with their revenue stream and consistently not meeting their goals.”

Summit’s new Sales Consulting practice will include expertise in sales processes such as skills assessment, job descriptions, recruiting, compensation plans/systems, performance improvement programs, territory management, lead distribution, tracking and reporting, channel development programs, pricing models, CRM systems, marketing support programs and more.

“We have just signed our first Sales Consulting Services Agreement with a local software and services company that we will be announcing very soon, Turner goes on to say. “We are very excited about this opportunity and believe that it will just be the first of many successful engagements we will undertake.”
